The Tredegar Iron chapter of the Strength & Honor Motorcycle Club organized a Christmas in July Poker Run on July 30, 2016 to benefit the Sgt. Mac Foundation, a nonprofit organization that raises money to place Christmas wreaths on headstones of fallen service members at Quantico National Cemetery. All proceeds from the ride will go to the foundation. Marks & Harrison proudly donated the funds to purchase the challenge coins given to the first 100 donors of $25.00 or more.
The Christmas in July Poker run brought together five chapters of the Strength & Honor Motorcycle Club across the state of Virginia. Altogether, the chapters raised $10,000 for the Sgt. Mac Foundation.
Marks & Harrison Investigator Chris Greenwell, a member of the Tredegar Iron chapter, planned the event which started in Colonial Heights and ended at the Quantico Cemetery.
The wreath laying ceremony will take place on December 3, 2016 at the Quantico Cemetery.
