Joanna Suyes was appointed by Chief Justice Cynthia Kinser to serve on the Supreme Court’s Access to Justice Commission Study Committee which recommended that Virginia follow the lead of 27 other states and adopt an Access to Justice Commission to improve delivery of legal services to low income Virginias. Joanna was also reappointed to serve as Chair of the Virginia State Bar’s Special Committee on Access to Legal Services for the 2013 – 2014 bar year.
