Genoveva Border, our Director of Spanish Services, was recently featured in the winter issue of the University of Richmond School of Law Alumni magazine. She contributed to the Immigration Assistance Project along with other students, alumni, faculty, and staff who advocate on behalf of the immigrant community in Richmond.
Genoveva teaches Spanish Legal Skills at Richmond Law and an important element of the course is immigration law. In the article, she discusses how she and her students visit the immigration pro bono legal clinics at the Virginia Hispanic Foundation, which help low income clients with their immigration cases.
