Attorney Lee J. Bujakowski attended the Hopewell city council meeting on Tuesday, September 28th to update the council on a class-action lawsuit that many Virginia locales have already joined.
He gave a brief updated on the opioid litigation and also discussed the settlement allocation agreement with had been recently “hammered out” with the state Attorney General’s Office, and how that money is to be dispersed.
After the motion was read by the city clerk, council voted unanimously to pass the motion to join the class action suit.
