Pictured is Marks & Harrison Attorney Rob Sievers with several of Raise’s student volunteers, and Raise founder, Melodie Fearnow-Kenny. Raise is a 501c3 non-profit with a mission to create opportunities for vocational training, employment, and community engagement for youth and young adults with developmental disabilities. Raise currently funds sustainable coffee cart businesses in special education classes at eight Hanover County public schools. Marks & Harrison recently sponsored Raise in order to help their efforts in expanding their school programs, creating more integrated work opportunities in the community, and getting them closer to having their own coffee shop that will foster even greater impact.
