Virginia Lawyer Magazine featured an article written by attorney Brad Kent their December 2016 edition. In the article, Brad discusses his experience with a former client of Marks & Harrison who lost his job and was denied unemployment after taking time off to give his mother a proper burial.
Brad assisted attorney Joanna Suyes on the case and they were able to successfully appeal the client’s claim for benefits. Not only did our client begin receiving unemployment benefits immediately, but he would also receive benefits dating back to when his employer fired him.
