Andrea grew up on a small family farm in Romulus, Alabama where she learned the value of hard work and community. Andrea came to the practice of law following a career in teaching and with a unique background in medical science. As a result, Andrea is capable of understanding and explaining complex injuries and treatments at trial. Her favorite part of trial preparation is thoroughly reviewing the medical records to identify and anticipate the details that the other side will use to try to undermine the claim.
Andrea completed her undergraduate studies at Baylor University where she double majored in Biology and Psychology. Andrea studied medical science at the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine. She also studied business management at the University of Alabama.
Andrea received her law degree from the University of Richmond School of Law, where she served on the Moot Court Board and Client Counseling and Negotiation Board and represented the University of Richmond at various competitions.
Prior to joining Marks & Harrison, Andrea most recently served as Staff Counsel for GEICO defending personal injury cases.
Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, writing, running, playing and watching sports, and exploring Virginia.
