Rob joined Marks & Harrison in 2019. He received his bachelor’s degree from Elon University before graduating from The Appalachian School of Law. While in law school, he served as the Student Bar Association President, and was awarded the American Bar Association SBA President of the Year award.
Rob is admitted to practice in Virginia State and Federal Courts, including the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals, as well as the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is on brief for two cases argued before the Supreme Court of the United States and several cases before the Virginia Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Marks & Harrison, Rob practiced with another local personal injury law firm in Richmond and prior to that, an insurance defense firm. He started his career as a law clerk for The Honorable Glen M. Williams, Senior United States District Court Judge for the Western District of Virginia. After his federal clerkship, he served two years as an Assistant Attorney General and Associate Solicitor General for The Office of the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Virginia. He also served on the VTLA Pro Bono Committee and was a two-time presenter at the VTLA Advanced Auto Retreat.
